That's New To Me Weekly Challenge #5

This week's That's New To Me Challenge #5, hosted by Suzy Mosh, is to use a tangle beginning with the letter "M".  (Here is the link: That's New to Me Weekly Challenge

I have been waiting for the opportunity to try this lovely pattern, Maryhill by Betsy Wilson, CZT - Crafts by Betsy.  I quite enjoyed using this pattern and I am looking forward to trying all the wonderful variations she shared.  I also wanted to include tangles that I have not used in awhile:  Punzel, (Zentangle® pattern) and Inapod by Carol Ohl, CZT. (I have noticed a lot of Inapod flowers and Inapod in a grid latey).  I used a 3.5" square, Renaissance tile,a few soapstone highlights and white gouache dots, but I did not use a brown pen this time.

Here is this week's entry:

Tangles:  Maryhill, Inapod, Punzel
Renaissance Tile

Thank you Suzy for this week's challenge.  Sorry to hear that you were not well, but I am glad that you are feeling better.

Thank you for visiting and thank you to those who have taken the time to leave a
comment (which are always appreciated)! Cheers and happy tangling.

  5. That's lovely! I really like the choice of patterns. I especially love how you've drawn "Punzel". I had the most difficult time drawing that one and gave up on it long ago. I may have to revisit it now. Thank you for the inspiration. Really great work.
