Challenges Week of 9/25/16

The Diva Challenge #286:  "Straight to It".   Here is the link: Diva Challenge
Thank you Diva for this week's challenge.
We are to use straight lines only:  Either use tangles that have straight lines or use straight lines on curvy tangles.  I think this is a cute idea.  This was a challenge for me as I like curvy lines.   I decided to use my favorite tangles, Well & 'NZeppel.  I drew Well on a Bijou tile, as it should be, then with straight lines. I did not shade.
Then I drew a straight-lined Well on a 3.5 inch tile. I really had to concentrate to make sure the lines lined up properly. Good exercise for focusing and drawing straight lines...:

Then I combined straight 'NZeppel: Looks better in person...lol:
Tangle:  Well & 'NZeppel
Looking forward to seeing what you've done.

Muster Mixer #22 - Antique (one of my favorites) & Netting
Please be sure to see the other lovely entries. Here is the link:  Muster Mixer

I have not participated in this challenge for quite some time.  I believe I should have done Netting first, then the Antique border.  I found it difficult to line up the orbs of Netting to Antique.  So it looks a bit random.  I think this has potential, and I believe that I did combine the tangles properly.  This needed to be sketched out first, but it was a nice learning experience.  This may be a do-over, but I will post it just the same: 1st attempt (9/25/16)
Tangles:  Antique & Netting

2nd Attempt 9/28/16:  This time I made a grid (light pencil lines), drew Netting first.  I was able to merge Netting to the Antique Border and then drew the Antique flowers in Netting (combining elements):
Tangles:
Antique - Kathy Barringer, CZT
Netting - Suzanne McNeill, CZT

Thank you for visiting.
Comments are welcomed and appreciated, or just
say hello!  Cheers and happy tangling.
Have a wonderful week.
