Weekly Challenges 8/21/16

Time flies....

It is impossible for me to catch up, but I do want to wish fellow CZT, Adele Bruno, a Happy Belated Birthday for It's a String Thing  Tickled to Tangle.  Congratulations!  Adele also did something quite unexpected.  She created a Zendala with everyone's names who participated in It's a String Thing.  What a lovely gesture!  Here is the link:  Tickled to Tangle Birthday Zendala.

Diane & Carolien's Weekly Challenge  #70 hosted by Diane Clancy & Carolien aka ZandipantsWe are to use the tangles beginning with the letters A-R-H. Your choice of tangles, and/or add others as well. If you haven't yet tried participating, I encourage you to do so.  You can see other entries at:  Diane & Carolien's Weekly Challenge

Thank you Diane & Carolien for this challenge.

As luck would have it, Lynn Meade, CZT recently shared her new tangle Abeko.  It is simple to do and quite elegant.  Thank you Lynn - I love it.  I started out using Zendala Dare #79 template,  Zendala Dare  but as you can see, it morphed into something quite different.

Here is my entry for this week's challenge:
Tangles:  Abeko, Retro & Henna
Tangles:
Abeko - Lynn Mead, CZT
Retro - Helena
Henna - Jane MacKugler, CZT

The Diva Weekly Challenge #281: "Tangle study-ING".  Here is the link: Diva Challenge
Thank you Diva for this week's challenge.

After working on several projects that required concentration and fine details, I wanted to do something loose and fun.  I used curvy lines, instead of straight lines with the hope of a ribbony-effect.  The end result was not my intention.   It looks either like a horse, or a praying mantis?  Oh well, I laughed and decided I would post it anyway!

In May I started participating in the FB group Travelling Tangles.  Here is one of the first that I received from Anoeska.  It was a bit unsettling to tangle on someone else's work, but I really enjoyed the process:

 Received from Anoeska Waardenberg

This is how I completed it.  Next week I will post what I sent her and how she finished it.

 Thank you for visiting.
Comments are welcomed and appreciated, or just
say hello!  Cheers and happy tangling.
Have a wonderful week.
