Each week Suzy randomly selects a letter and you are to use a tangle that you have never tried beginning with that letter. You can use more than one tangle. If you are new here is the link: That's New to Me.
The random letter for Week #11 is "B". I was determined this week to post this by the deadline, (Saturday evening), and to not do a monotangle (which I love to do with new tangles). So, I chose two that's new to me tangles: Bask-It by Anna Houston, CZT and B'Twined by Pegi Schargel, CZT and in the Zentangle fashion - unplanned, just-do-it - it turned into a duotangle!
I first used Bask-It as a border, and as an afterthought, decided to incorporate B'Twined. If I had given this thought, I would have drawn the grid first, then maybe the baskets would be aligned...but, as there are no mistakes. Unfortunately, I did rush, which we know you should not do. This should always be relaxing and stress-free. Also, you must wait for the pen to dry before shading - it does get messy. Anyway, I made the deadline, tried two new tangles and created a duotangle. I am looking forward to seeing your creation. If you haven't tried this challenge, please do.
This is my entry for challenge #11:
Tangles: Bask-It & B'Twined
3.5 inch square tile
