I wish that I could participate in all the lovely challenges that are now being offered, but, unfortunately, I cannot. For this week (and last week), I am combining the two challenges that are listed above. Thank you to Erin & Suzy for these challenges. Here are the links:
Zendala Dare - The Bright Owl
That's New To Me Weekly Challenge
I have found these last two templates very interesting. The first one threw me a bit, and this one has left me undecided. Somehow most of the tangles I chose were flowery. Maybe because it is so cold and I long for spring. My dilemma is that I tend to like white space/negative space (sorry - a bit tired when I first posted) and only used some of the template. But...should I finish filling in the last few triangular spaces and tie in the center and outer triangles with the same touch of color, or leave it alone? So many choices...suggestions are welcome.
Here is my entry (sorry for the poor quality of the photo):
Canson Mi-Tientes Pastel Paper (cream), Sakura Pigma Micron Pen, Prismacolor Pencils
(Template by Erin Koetz Olson - www.thebrightowl.com)
Tangles:
Window Grilles by Mei Hua Tneg (Damy)
Henna Drum by Jane MacKugler, CZT ,
Steps by Helen Williams (for That's New To Me Weekly Challenge)
Ramy by Sandy Steen Bartholomew, CZT
Thank you for visiting and thank you to those
who have taken the time to leave a comment. They are appreciated! Cheers
and happy tangling. Have a great week.
I love the pattern choices for the mandala--and--thank you for taking part in the challenge!
