Diva Challenge #183 - UMT X-Did

Happy September everyone.  And congratulations to Laura and B-Rad on their 10th Anniversary!

This week' challenge is "Use My Tangle - X-Did" by Annette Carlo. I had some trouble with this one, but after reading about Laura's challenge to herself - that her on-going challenge is to always post her submissions, I decided that I would follow suit, even though I had to use Bronx Cheer!.  Now you know I had trouble!  This was also a test of my resolve to not "peek" at any entries until I have posted mine.

In retrospect, I probably should have kept this in a grid-style  and not try to force a free-style, flowery" effect..  I also should have made the X-Did portion larger so that it would stand out, but I will remain positive and learn from this.  I would be happy to hear any recommendations or ideas. (PS I did not shade much).

Tangles:  X-Did, D-Vine, Carp3, & Bronx Cheer

I am looking forward to seeing your entries.  See you next week!

Thank you for visiting and thank you to those who have taken the time to leave a comment.  They are appreciated! Cheers. Happy tangling.

  1. I love how your center diamonds in X-Did turned out so tiny. And using the flower in the negative shape is so pretty. This is a very original take on the pattern and turned out just beautiful!

  5. I think you did quite well with this challenge! Maybe it's an idea to give a part that you want to stand out, a double line. That's what I discovered.
