Weekly Challenge #172
Duo-tangle: Auraknot & Mooka
Strathmore Toned Tan Paper
I haven't been able to tangle for a bit, so this was fun to do. (Although the ink bled when I tried to accent portions of Mooka & Auraknot by outlining - oh well.) Will try to make time to play with color this weekend. I do not peek at the challenges submitted until I finish mine...can't wait. Happy tangling!

Your tile is very elegant; I love Mooka inside Auraknot.
ReplyDeleteAnne - thank you for your lovely comment. Nice to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tile. Your spacing of the various elements and components in the design is so consistent, that there is a evenness of tone throughout the tile that is very pleasing to me. I love the flourishes on the heads of some of the Mookas.
ReplyDeleteDavid - thank you for leaving such a pleasant comment. It was nice hearing from you. Happy Tangling!
DeleteDiane - thank you. I appreciate how you say they "dance", as I struggle with Auraknot. I find it difficult to "soften" Auraknot, for lack of a better word. So many thanks...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile :)
ReplyDeleteLily - thank you. Your comment is valued. :)
DeleteLove this - and I like the Toned Tan paper, I have been working on that lately too - wish it was a titch thicker. Having trouble getting Blogspot to see my id....dropstitchknitter.wordpress.com
ReplyDeleteDropstichknitter - thank you! Maybe that's why the ink bled, or maybe I didn't let the first round dry enough? Be well!
